Daryl G. Clarida
Daryl Clarida has extensive litigation
experience gained during his over 19 years of practice. Since initially forming
CROWLEY & CLARIDA LLP in September 2002, Mr. Clarida's clients have
included railroads, courier companies, medical device manufacturers,
professional sports franchises, restaurants, commercial real estate investment
and management companies and construction and demolition companies. Mr.
Clarida's reputation as one of Georgia's top civil litigation attorneys is
evidenced by his selection as a Georgia Super Lawyer in the area of civil
litigation defense in 2006. He was named to Georgia Trend Magazine's
"Legal Elite" list in December 2007 in the practice area of personal
injury, and was selected as a Georgia Super Lawyer in the area of general
litigation in 2008. These selections were based on the assessment of his peers
in the legal community.
Mr. Clarida is experienced in landlord tenant disputes, premises liability claims, defamation actions, product liability actions, motor vehicle accidents, FELA litigation, grade crossing accidents, mass tort litigation, insurance coverage claims, materialman's liens and commercial contract claims.
Mr. Clarida has spoken at Georgia Institute of Continuing Legal Education seminars and at meetings of the National Association of Railroad Trial Counsel. He is a member of the Atlanta and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Georgia and the Illinois State Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before all Georgia and Illinois state courts as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Georgia, the Southern District of Illinois and the Central District of Illinois. Mr. Clarida is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh and Seventh Circuits.
Mr. Clarida earned his B.A. cum laude in 1986 from the University of Illinois and his J.D. in 1989 from Duke University.
